Hi, folks. Yes I'm back on the blog, thanks to Nicki. Our week has been full. We again had over 100 girls plus the leaders in for the week and over 100 youth on the weekend. It was again a stressed and a good week rolled into one. Then, as you know, our family came in for sat night, because you were here, (except for Camille, Micky, Kira and Brydon). We missed them. We hope all will make it on the 4th of July.
Today church was again very spriitual and I was able to bless the sacrament. Haven't done that in a long time. What a blessing the Preisthood is, along with the support of the women of the church. Mom and I had to give the lesson from Preach my Gospel for our districh meeting. That was fun. We have a great group.
We love you all, and want you to know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true!!

May 23rd
I know that I was going to post every Sunday, BUT, Sunday was not a great day. I should say it started out as not a greatd day, but ended up being a good day. We had a very busy weekend with about 200 to 300 campers on the mountain. Friday we recieved over 12 inches of new snow, with campers coming in at 2 pm we had to shovel paths to cabins, clean out fire pits so the campers could get in.
sat turned out to be a great day, 60 degrees lot of sun and the campers had a good time. Today we have in our camp about 150 youth. They are a group of kids that are being home schooled. The best I can say is "they are interesting". They seem to be well organized but with very few adult leaders. It should be a great 3 days.
So far this has been a wonderful place to serve a mission. We wear levis, t-shirts and ride our 4 wheelers. What more could you ask for in life. Oh, and we serve with 62 other couple our same age and standards.
Next week will be even more busy than this week. Then on the 6th of June the camp will be filled with young women during the week and familes on the weekend. It will be that way until the end of Sept.
More information next week. Until then; Know the gospel is true, the Savior lived and died for us and he is always by our side.

May 8th Mothers Day
One more week has come and gone. We now only have 5 months left, and we wish it would be longer. BUT not in the winter!!! Our 'P' day was spent in Vernal, UT. We went to the temple at what was once the Vernal Tabernacle. Pres. Hinckly wanted made into a temple and what a beautiful job the church did.
We have had warm days and a lot of snow has melted. Our camp is the lowest on the mountain (8,000 ft) the camps that are 9,000 ft still have 5 to 6 ft of snow. They still have about 10 to 12 trailers that need to brought up. Our first campers will be coming up on the 20th. then we are busy every week until end of Sep.. The other couples that serve here are awesome, they are so strong in the gospel, it a treat to get to know them. I'm amazed at how our prayers have been answered with regard to the weather. The Lord has really tempered the weather. The snow is melting but not to fast to cause flooding. It is raining now and its 50 degrees out side. The weather man says we will get 6" of new snow tonight, but it will melt fast.
Billie and I start training tomorrow on the 'Rope Course' which is part of the 'Callange Couse'. We have to trained at a level 1 which will take two days of training.
Remember, all who read this, the Gospel is true.

Sunday May 1st
We made it back to the trailer Sat. night about 10:30pm after going down to Erin's baptisim. It was great to see everyone. Sorry Justin that we did not come up and see you. We'll make sure we do it next time.
It was cold when we got in our trailer (23 degrees) the water pipes were frozen. I had forgot to open the propane tank so the furnace ran out of propane. I did figure it out at 11:30, got up, dressed went out side and turned the gas on. The pipes did not thaw out until we came home from church at 1:00 pm. We will start tomorrow at 9:00am cleaning showers and toilets so the Woodbadge people can come in on Wed to clean cabins. We have to dig a trail to 6 cabins and two bathroom/shower bldgs. We did that on Fri but Sat morning they had 6 to 8 inhes of new snow. Most of you who will be reading this know that if you go to http://www.hebervalleycamp.com/ you can read all about where we are. Billie & I are camp hosts at the Lucy Mac Smith Camp. If anyone wants to come up, there is an Open House on May 14th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. We would love to see you. Anyone can come up on Sat after 5:00 pm.. It does not get dark until after eight so we could show you around and go down the mountain for something to eat. Just give us advance notice. (or warning)
I will try to add something to this blog each Sunday. Today was Fast meeting and we were given our districts that we will belong to. There are eight camps within the Heber girls camp and we now have eight districts. I do not know what that will entail as of yet because there is too much snow for us to meet in our assigned areas.
Enough for tonight. Love to all. Remember the Gospel is true!!!
